Mr. Marie said the outcomes of the consultation would be subject to further review from Senior Officials of CARIFORUM and the FCORS and British and Dutch OCTs. He said additionally, that the advice of Regional Organisations would be sought before going into more intense sessions at the level of senior officials on the outcomes. This”, he said, would serve as advice and inputs into a political level dialogue. He further advised that discussions were underway to arrange for the political level dialogue by the end of March.

Head of Cooperation from the European Union Delegation in Barbados, Mr. Luis Maia, also spoke at the opening of the Consultation. He reminded officials that the EU had supported efforts to strengthen wider Caribbean cooperation since the 2005 Clovis Beauregard Conference. …..Read more click here
