Body discovered protruding out of vehicle window

A resident of Bellevue Chopin, who was reportedly involved in a vehicular accident, has died.

According to Police Public Relations Officer, Pelham Jno Baptiste, about 1:30 pm on Monday 12 September 2016, the Police Fire and Ambulance Service responded to information which resulted in the discovery of motor vehicle registration number TL 865 belonging to Coverage Rental on the seashore in the Bioche area.

Upon arriving at the scene, the lifeless body, which has been identified as Misley Rolle, 28, was found protruding out of the front windscreen of the wrecked vehicle.

Rolle was officially pronounced dead by a medical doctor. A coroner’s inquest will be convened as police investigation into the discovery continues.

Jno Baptiste extended “deepest sympathies” to Rolle’s relatives and friends.
