Permanent Committee of Tourism & Economic Affairs to meet on Thursday about Moratorium Policy related to Public Transportation

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The Permanent Committee of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport & Telecommunication of the House will meet in session on April 9.

The Permanent Committee meeting is set for Thursday at 2.00pm in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.

The agenda point is the moratorium policy on taxi, bus and tour licences and the recommendation from the PricewaterhouseCoppers report on the policy.

Minister of Transportation Hon. Claret Connor is scheduled to be present for the committee House session.

Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations.

The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.
