Governor’s Office staff met with the Director and Projects Coordinator of the St Maarten Aids Foundation together with representatives from the Anguilla Community Action Network (ACAN) earlier this afternoon.

A summit is being planned to take place in Anguilla in early October which will bring together youth from Anguilla, St Maarten and St.. Martin to discuss sexual health issues including teen-age pregnancy and HIV.

Director of the St Maarten Aids Foundation Rajesh Chintaman explained that “The summit is intended to garner ideas, opinions and feedback about sexual health from a youth perspective and then use that information to better inform our government policy makers.”
