GRENADA — In response to a request from the Government of Grenada, the United States Southern Command’s Caribbean Basin Security Initiative Technical Assistance Field Team (USSOUTHCOM CBSI-TAFT) is in Grenada this week to assist the Royal Grenada Police Force Coast Guard (RGPFCG) in repairing US-supported maritime assets.
The CBSI-TAFT, comprised of US Coast Guard and US Army engineers and logisticians, works closely with the RGPFCG during these technical assistance visits. The Grenadian team consistently welcomes the collaboration, demonstrating a strong commitment to regional security and operational readiness.
