U 2 Can Move is once again having its annual Market Fair, this Saturday, August 6th, at the John Larmonie Center, Long Wall Rd.

Founder of U 2 Can Move, MP Sarah Wescot-Williams is calling on the community to support our micro and small entrepreneurs, who will be displaying their art, craft, food, plants and offering these and much more for sale.

“Unfortunately, we were not able to accommodate more vendors, due to limited space and COVID spacing. But I encourage everyone to come out and support those who will be at the location this Saturday and as usual, there will be some surprises and a lot of fun”, MP Wescot added.

U 2 Can Move is a fitness and health organization, promoting everything that is healthy and that contributes to the overall wellness of the population.

U 2 Can Move is now in its 10th year and continues its mission of encouraging exercise and movement as a way to help the community enjoy good health.

“As part of this mission, special attention is also paid to the things we can do ourselves, that which we can grow and make. All in all, it promises to be an exciting day”, MP Wescot further elaborated.

“After a very successful market fair in 2020, the Covid pandemic created a hiatus, but we are back on track” coordinator and U 2 Can Move member, Rita Pantophlet commented.

She encouraged those persons like herself, who cook, bake, or make specialty drinks and other healthy concoctions to come out and face the competition, she jokingly added.
