21 yrs. old fined EC $3,000.00 for possession of cannabis
The Royal Anguilla Police Force on Thursday 22nd February, 2018 arrested and charged 21 years old Kirwin Benjamin of The Farrington with possession of cannabis.
The alleged offender who appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Monday 26th February, 2018 was fined EC $3,000.00 when he pled guilty to the offence. Benjamin has until the 27th August 2018 to pay the same fine or spend two (2) months in prison in default.
21 yrs. old from Sandy Hill on bail for firearm and other offences
The Royal Anguilla Police Force on Thursday 22nd February, 2018 arrested and charged 21 years old Kwame Fleming of Sandy Hill with possession of a firearm, armed with an offensive weapon to-wit a cutlass and assault.
The alleged offender who was taken before the Magistrate’s Court on Friday 23rd February, 2018 charged with the offences was granted bail in the sum of EC $50,000.00 bond and EC $10,000.00 cash bond with one surety.
His conditions of bail are to report to The Valley Police Station every Monday and Friday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm, keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to avoid interfering with any of the witnesses in the case.
Fleming is due back in court on Thursday 31st May, 2018.
