Lounge is St. Maarten’s first branded speed dating experience for businesses
Great Bay, St. Maarten – Creator of Power Hour, St. Maarten’s premier networking event, Ife Badejo and founder of Be Your Own Brand, Kenty Lichtenberg are collaborating to host LOUNGE: St. Maarten’s speed dating for businesses. On January 31, 2018 entrepreneurs, small business owners, and innovators are welcome to experience the very first LOUNGE. Held at the Coffee Lounge in Philipsburg, this networking event is designed to help entrepreneurs connect to the potential partners and clients while having fun, gaining insights and connecting with like-minded results driven persons.
Entrepreneurs and small businesses have been heavily impacted by Hurricane Irma. Also, many who have lost their jobs or no longer have the same hours, have started their entrepreneurial journey to support themselves. For this reason, LOUNGE aims to help build strategic relationships in a fun, informative, and efficient manner. Attendees will be randomly seated at tables and have 3 mins to share about their business or a business challenge and then rotate to other tables. Those who are launching will get an additional 2 min highlight to share about their new business, service, or product.
This is part of the theme for the first LOUNGE. Launch@LOUNGE will provide opportunities for entrepreneurs and small business owners to launch or pre-launch at LOUNGE in a very relaxed atmosphere and at a very low investment. They also have the opportunity to learn more about their potential clients as they will be interacting with them personally. There are also only 10 spots available for those who want to launch their new business
At the core of LOUNGE is the focus on collaboration and the philosophy that success is a team sport. Nica Noir Kreative is the first partner of LOUNGE and will be providing the welcome drink for all attendees. Snacks and additional materials will also be available.
