ORIENT BAY, Saint Martin – On Sunday April 2, reports came in around 1:00 am a serious accident had occurred in the vicinity of Rancho de Sol and entrance of former Boo Boo jam in Orient bay.

Two persons travelling on a motorbike lost control and ended up under a pick-up. The reason is yet unknown.

At the moment the news came in, it was unclear how badly the two accident victims were injured. Eyewitnesses report that they looked on as paramedics tried to revive one of the victims.


Sadly, 721news got confirmation from close family members that the two persons have succumbed to their injuries.

One of the victims was identified by an immediate family as Akeem Peters (27).
On social media, the second victim has been identified (unconfirm) as Kimo Codrington from commonwealth of Dominica aka “Nico”. Our newsroom has not been able to get a confirmation from any family members of the second victim.

Reliable sources have confirmed that this tragic accident did not happen at the Bike Show that took place last night.

An update will follow as we gather more information on the unfortunate incident.
