GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – Services related to the issuing of driver’s licenses and identification cards at the Civil Registry Department have been suspended due to technical issues until further notice.
Issuing of the aforementioned is not possible at this time, but the department is working diligently to get the matter resolved. The general public will be informed when this matter has been resolved.
The Civil Registry Department apologizes for any inconveniences that the aforementioned may cause.
Persons are advised to check the validity of their documents, and if necessary, can come in to the office and begin the renewal application process.
All applications will be accepted that comply with requirements, and clients are required to supply a hard copy passport sized photo not older than six (6) months.
Philipsburg branch: Walk-ins: Monday –Friday (except Wednesdays) 8.00am – 10:00am; Appointments: Monday – Friday afternoon; Wednesdays by appointment only;
Public Service Center (Simpson Bay):
Walk – ins only: Monday – Friday (except Wednesdays) 8:300am – 12:00PM; Wednesday 8:30 – 12:00PM (no appointments).
