CUL DE SAC, Sint Maarten — The Motorworld T20 Series kicks off this Sunday; October 2nd at the Carib Lumber Ballpark, at 9:30am This tournament which is sponsored by Motor World and organized by Cricket St. Maarten; will feature seven (7) local cricket teams, who will be vying for the championship trophy.
The entire community is invited to come out with their families to show support and witness a showcase of our local talent. In addition to these teams, our very own Under 19 World Cup Man of the Match; Kaecy Carty, who made international headlines early this year by bringing the West Indies U19 team to victory in the World Cup match will also be in attendance.
Don’t miss the opportunity to get fun giveaways and surprises. The Positive Foundation, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month will also be on hand to disseminate information and valuable advice regarding breast cancer. Food and Drinks will be available for sale along with live music.
Come out and make it a family event. The first team to kick off the tournament will be Featuring The Champs Cricket Team playing against the KFC Twisters and the second game; the NAGICO Cricket Club will take on their rival from last Tournament final; the CGC Spartans Cricket Club.
