THE VALLEY, ANGUILLA –– On Monday 31st August, 2015 at 8:30 pm police responded to a report of a robbery and gun shots being fired in the Cachena Bar and Restaurant in the Eldorado Mall in Water Swamp. On arrival at the scene police met an unresponsive male who was later pronounced dead on the scene by a Medical Doctor.
Forensic evidence at the scene suggests that a firearm was used to inflict injury to the decease.
As the Police continues investigation into this matter they are appealing to members of the public who may have been in the area of the Cachena Bar and Restaurant in the Eldorado Mall and may have witnessed this shooting incident or have any information regarding this shooting to contact the Valley Police Station with such information.

The Commissioner of Police and members of the Royal Anguilla Police Force would like extend sympathy to the grieved family and friends of the deceased.
Police are withholding the identification of the decease until next of kin can be notified.
