Two suspects arrested
On Wednesday, June 10th at approximately 08.40 p.m. police arrested two young men 21 years and 27 years old on the Welfare road in the vicinity of Tropicana Casino. Both men are suspected of breaking into a vehicle on the Welfare road and stealing items from the vehicle. Both suspects were taken to the Philipsburg Police Station where they remain in custody for further investigation.

Man arrested for gun possession.
On Monday June 15th at approximately 11.00 a.m. police arrested a 25 year man after he was stopped for a routine traffic control. When the officers asked the driver to open the window they immediately smelled the strong scent of marihuana. They suspect immediately became very nervous. During a search of the suspect the officers found a loaded black pistol which immediately confiscated for further investigation. The suspect was immediately arrested on gun charges and taken to the Philipsburg Police Station where he remains in custody for further investigation.
