SINT MAARTEN — The police Force Sint Maarten (KPSM) has arrested three suspects in connection with the robbery of a student who was on his way home in the Valley Estate area.
Shortly before noon, Central Police Dispatch received a report from a parent stating that her son had been stopped by four male suspects while walking home. According to the report, three of the suspects exited a vehicle, forcefully held the student, and robbed him of his chain, cellular phone, and watch. The suspects then fled the area in a gray Hyundai vehicle.
While the victim and his parents were on their way to the police station, they spotted the suspected vehicle on L.B. Scott Road and immediately informed the police dispatcher.
Several police patrols and detectives were dispatched to the area. Officers subsequently located the vehicle in the vicinity of the Academy School offices. Following a brief investigation, three suspects, identified by their initials as J.Q.I.B., J.A.R.R., and I.R.B., were arrested in connection with the robbery.
The vehicle, along with items found inside, was confiscated for further investigation. The three suspects were transported to the police station, where they remain in custody pending further investigation.
KPSM is continuing its investigation and efforts to locate the fourth suspect, whose identity is currently unknown. Investigators have information regarding his possible whereabouts and are actively working to locate and apprehend him.

Their cooperation and willingness to assist the police are greatly appreciated.
