SZV promptly replied that both the patients and the respective medical institutions where they are receiving care were contacted. Based on the information received, all Sint Maarten patients have been accounted for and are safe.

The Minister expressed appreciation to SZV for its swift response and coordination in establishing contact with the patients and healthcare providers during this situation. The Ministry of VSA will remain in close communication with SZV and the medical institutions in Colombia and will provide updates should circumstances change.
