Christmas special and holiday schedule at library

PHILIPSBURG – The Philipsburg Jubilee Library will be giving back to her faithful patrons this Christmas season, by offering two weeks of returning one’s overdue books free of charge.

This grace period started Tuesday, December 13, and will last until Friday, December 23. All overdue books can be returned free of charge and no questions will be asked.

They also notified the general public of their Holiday Season year opening schedule. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, December 20, 21, 27 & 28, the library will be open from 9:00am to 12:30pm and 2:00pm until 6:00pm.

On Thursday, December 22, the library will host the Christmas Market from 10:00am to 7:30pm, and will close at 8:00pm as scheduled.

On Friday, December 23 and 30, the Library will be open from 9:00am to 12:00pm. On Saturday, December 24, which is Christmas Eve and December 31, which is Old Year’s day, the library will be closed.

Tuesday, January 3, 2017 and Wednesday, January 4, 2017, the library will be open from 9:00am to 12:30pm and 2:00pm until 6:00 pm. On Thursday, January 5, opening hours will be from 2:00pm to 8:00pm and Friday, January 6, from 9:00am to 12:30pm and 2:00pm until 5:00pm.

The library will resume regular opening hours as of Tuesday, January 10, 2017.
