PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The House of Parliament will sit in a Public meeting on August 20, 2026.
The Public meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 13.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg. The Council of Ministers will be in attendance.
The agenda points are:
- Incoming documents
- Ratification Agreements Lists of the Interparliamentary Kingdom Consultation (IPKO) held from June 5-8, 2026, in the Hague, the Netherlands (IS/1157/2025-2026 dated June 11, 2026)
- Draft National Ordinance stipulating the Budget for Country Sint Maarten for the service year 2026 (National Budget Ordinance 2026) (Parliamentary Year 2025-2026-192) (IS/1159/2025-2026 dated 11 June 2026)
Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations. All persons visiting the House of Parliament must adhere to the house rules.
The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.
