CHARGED WITH MURDER AND ARSON OF ROMAINE OVARDO CARBY

The Valley, Anguilla –– The Royal Anguilla Police Force advises that, following ongoing investigations into the homicide and arson that occurred in the Bad Cox area on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, a male has now been formally charged in connection with the death of Romaine Ovardo Carby.

Krishna Baijnauth, a 49-year-old resident of George Hill, was charged on Saturday, 10 January 2026, with Murder and Arson.

The Royal Anguilla Police Force once again extends condolences to the family and loved ones of Romaine Ovardo Carby during this difficult time.

Police remind the public that investigations remain active and are urging anyone with information that may assist to contact the Criminal Investigation Department, the nearest police station, or submit information anonymously via SecureAXA.com.
