PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten (Sunday April 7th, 2019) — On Thursday April 4th, the Social & Health Insurances SZV hosted a general meeting for the community council representatives of fourteen (14) districts. The well-attended meeting was a formal introduction to the organization in which SZV extended its invitation to collaborate with the district representatives. SZV is seeking to expand its reach when it comes to information sharing within the community.
District representatives were open to the invitation and took the opportunity to give constructive and critical feedback to SZV about its service levels and accessibility. The introduction meeting will be followed-up by individual meetings with each community counsel. SZV would like to establish a unique collaboration with all districts that will help to remove barriers in communication and empower residents with information about their rights and obligations.
