Henson: The remains found may be linked to the Mars investigation

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — In a press release from the police, the Spokesman chief Inspector Ricardo Henson said: In connection with the ongoing investigation regarding the human remains that were discovered on Tuesday August 1st 2017 near the Belair beach, it has become clear to the investigators that the these remains are from two different persons of whom their identity have not yet been officially established.

DNA samples of these remains have been taken to be sent to the Forensic Laboratory in the Netherlands for further investigation.

There is however indication that these remains may be linked to the Mars investigation.

As the investigation continues and more information becomes available the media will be informed.
