UPDATE DCOMM: * Press Release # 2– EXAM Classes Cancelled
PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — The Minister of Education Culture Youth & Sports The Honorable Silveria Jacobs has decided to close all schools on Monday May 29th 2017 due to heavy rains, reports of heavy flooding throughout the island and overall poor weather conditions.
Take note that the EXAM Classes have officially been cancelled.
A follow up announcement will be issued later today indicating if schools will reopen on Tuesday May 30th 2017.
