GEBE distribute gifts to children

2013

PHILIPSBURG – NV GEBE celebrated its yearly “Santa Comes to GEBE,” where children from the I Can Foundation, Hope Outreach Foster Care, and students of the public schools received an early Christmas gift at GEBE’s Christmas Village located on the Ring Road.

Over 300 gifts were distributed this year to children ages of 2-12. Children within the public schools were selected by the teachers. The children were joyful and enjoyed the day GEBE hosted in their honor.

GEBE started this event 4 years ago for the children of the employees and friends. However, the new Managing Board took it a step further by giving back to the community. “We’re just doing this for the children. Every year GEBE chooses a different category of children and we just want to make sure that every child has a Merry Christmas,” said CFO Iris Arrindell.

GEBE’s Christmas Village opened on December 11, with the Senior Citizens food baskets giveaway, and will close on December 24. There is nightly entertainment for everyone. On Tuesday, December 20, the Phoxx Christmas Extravaganza will be followed by King Beau Beau on Wednesday, December 21.

GEBE invites the public to come out and enjoy the festivities.
