MULLET BAY – Early Wednesday morning, October 12, employees of the Mullet Bay Resort and Golf Club and a member of the St. Maarten Golf Association (SMGA) discovered that the horse trailer of the SMGA had been stolen.
This is a great loss to the association as it contained numerous miscellaneous items used in tournaments as for instance the St. Maarten Open. Police have been notified of the theft and messages posted on social media for persons to lookout for the horse trailer. In case anyone knows the location of the trailer please notify police authorities immediately.
The SMGA is a non-profit organization which, amongst other things, gathers funds to support organizations involved in social activities and sports programs for the youth on St. Maarten.
