SIMPSON BAY, ST. MAARTEN – JULY 15, 2016 – On July 18th, Island 92 (91.9 ) FM, in conjunction with its partner, the Tradewinds Radio Network brings to the St. Maarten music scene part-time local and all-the-time country rockstar Don Clayton, as he gives an exclusive radio interview and the live debut of his latest hit, “Sailing.”
Don recently released his music video, “Lucky Man,” which tells the story of a man who, after a long journey, has finally found the love of his life. The video was filmed in St. Martin and features many of the island’s iconic locations, Don’s wife Alexandra, and their friends of St. Martin. A love story come true, Don and Alexandra portray each other in the film. With the support of his muse, Alexandra, and this beautiful island, Don cultivates the voice, inspiration, and heart behind his music.
Late this month, the couple will release their fourth music video, also filmed right here in St. Martin. Don will debut his song “Sailing,” on Island 92 and the Tradewinds Radio Network July 18th and perform the song (and more!) live at Buccaneer Beach Bar on Kimsha Beach later that night. The beach, the salt in the air, and the crystal clear water is the perfect setting to debut “Sailing” that you won’t want to miss.
Don and Alexandra have planted their country roots in the silky beaches of Simpson Bay and we are so glad that they did. Through finding incredible friends like Bernard at Buccaneer, Mike and Teresa from Big Fish, BJ of Lottery Farms, and many, many more, they are inspired by all of the love this friendly island has to offer and are looking forward to returning that love through music.
