Philipsburg, Sint Maarten — Once again for the 4th consecutive year, Celestial Weddings represented St. Maarten/St. Martin, island style at yet another of Canada’s prestigious Bridal Expo.
The yearly event lasted three days from September 11th through the 13th. The team of Celestial Weddings have been travelling to the United States, Canada and the Caribbean promoting St. Maarten/St. Martin as a wedding destination location, joining hundreds of wedding vendors while promoting the island’s services and resources.
Going on two years, Sonesta Resorts has teamed up with Celestial Wedding Agency as well as In Style Destination Weddings to further captivate the minds and desires of wedding couples and their families wishing to have St. Maarten/St. Martin host their celebration.
Last year we took various samples and flavors of Guava Berry liqueur, island chocolates shaped and souvenir bags.
This year we decided to go a little more traditional showcasing our island’s culture and flair to compliment what we started last year, which everyone was eagerly anticipating.
As many couples cruised and stopped by our booth which was well decorated and represented by Tamara & Dawny Jeffers from Celestial Wedding Agency as well as Katlyn Jarvis from Sonesta Resorts, Great Bay & Maho. They were Amaazed to further learn another of the island uniqueness, not just the double spelling in the name, the diversity of nations and cultures, the free ports, great food and spectacular beaches But… there are actually 2 tourist offices, go figure!!! As the conversation joyfully continued about Plaayful, Sensaational and Maagical St. Maarten/St. Martin.
We will continue representing the island, at as many events as we can, hoping to get the support of the local tourist offices for the further developing of making St. Maarten/St.Martin the most requested wedding-moon or vacation destination in the Caribbean.
