Lions Radio-thon this Saturday to help Dominica

SUCKERGARDEN, Sint Maarten — The Lions Clubs of St. Maarten & St. Maarten are organizing a joint Radio-thon this Saturday September 26th between 9am to 1pm. in aid of the island of Dominica after the island and its inhabitants were battered by Tropikal Storm Erika.
The radio stations on St. Maarten/St.Martin that will be participating are PJD3 102.7FM, X104.3FM, SOS Radio 95.9FM, Radio Transat 93.7, Youth Radio 92.5FM & WTN Cable TV.
The general public of St. Maarten and St. Martin can call the following numbers to make there pledges: 721-524-0210, 721-524-0217, 721-524-0230, 721-524-0234 and 721-524-0274.
Members of the public can also come to the Upper Princess Quarter Community Center or the Lions Den on Suckergarden Road next to the Sol Gas Station to personally make their pledges. Members of the various Lions Clubs will be on hand to assist.
This Radio-thon is a joint fundraising effort by the Lions Club of St.Maarten, Lions Club of Fort Louis, Lions Club of Doyen, Lions Club Qualichi with assistance from the Lions Club of St. Barthelemy.
All proceeds will go to Dominica Lions Club which will distribute the funds where needed on the island of Domnica.
