St. Vincent and the Grenadines — A 12-year-old girl was on Monday charged with the murder of another 15-year-old girl in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, police said.
Reports are that the deceased, Moesha Primus, a second form student at Intermediate High School in Kingstown, sustained a stab wound to the left side of her chest during an altercation with the minor at Campden Park on Thursday at about 5 p.m.
Primus was pronounced dead at a hospital about an hour later. The 12-year-old attacker, whose name is being withheld due to her age, is a grade six student at Lowmans Leeward Anglican School. She appeared before the Family Court where the indictable charge was read to her in the presence of her parents.
The preliminary inquiry is set for early September.
