St Lucia Police Report:
Saint Lucia — On Tuesday May 5, 2015 about 5:15 a.m. officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department received a report of a house fire at Chase Gardens, Castries.Upon arrival the officers observed a completely burnt out wooden structure.
Upon examination of the scene, the charred remains of 37 year old Alison Forde, 9 year old Giovanni Forde and 6 year old Tarrick Mc Donald were discovered amongst the debris.
The bodies were pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
Later that day, a postmortem examination revealed that all the individuals died as a result of smoke inhalation.
