Motorworld proudly celebrates the successful introduction of GAC and its AION electric vehicle lineup to St. Kitts and Nevis, through its partnership with S.L. Horsford & Co. Ltd.
The two-day launch, held on October 30 and 31, 2026, at Horsford’s Automotive in Basseterre, brought together hundreds of invited guests, media representatives and prospective buyers for an exciting showcase of automotive innovation, contemporary design and electric mobility.
The celebrations featured an exclusive media launch, cultural entertainment and vehicle unveilings, followed by a public open day where customers experienced the new lineup through interactive displays and test drives.
Joel Mchechrane, Automotive Executive at S.L. Horsford & Co. Ltd., described the launch as an important milestone in the company’s continued expansion.

The range includes the electric Aion UT, Aion V and Hyptec HT, alongside the internal combustion engine Emkoo and Emzoom, offering motorists greater choice across both conventional and fully electric mobility.
