THE NETHERLANDS / SINT MAARTEN – Keïsha A. Rousseau has graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in International & European Law from The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, describing herself as a “Third Gen Lawyer.” The milestone closes a four year chapter that began with uncertainty but was driven by strong hope and faith in what lay ahead.
In a social media post, Rousseau reflected on the journey: “This chapter marks the end of an experience that started four years ago one that began with some uncertainty but with even greater hope for what God had in store for me. It also marks the beginning of a whole new story, one that builds on experience made, and faith greater than what I started with.”

Her degree includes minors in Kingdom Affairs, Tax Law, Banking & Financial Regulation, and Intellectual Property Law. Rousseau emphasized that the achievement is only the start of her path, writing, “This is just the beginning, and it continues… Masters loading.”
A former student of the Sint Maarten Academy High School in Sint Maarten, Rousseau is the daughter of Mr. Jean Paul Rousseau and Ms. Sharon Henson.
The announcement highlights both her personal perseverance and a family tradition in the legal profession as she prepares to continue her studies.
