MP Lewis Pays Tribute to Louis “Pork Chop” Lambert Richardson and Extends Condolences to His Loved Ones

SINT MAARTEN — Nation Opportunity Wealth (NOW) Member of Parliament (MP) Lyndon Lewis has extended his heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the late Louis “Pork Chop” Lambert Richardson, remembering him as a beloved personality whose vibrant spirit and love for Carnival brought joy to Sint Maarten.
“It is with deep sadness that I extend my sincere condolences to Pork Chop’s family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. We have lost a beloved friend whose energy, laughter, and presence will be deeply missed,” MP Lewis said.
Pork Chop’s participation in Carnival became something people looked forward to every year. His enthusiasm and unmistakable personality made him a cherished part of the celebrations, creating memories that will remain with those who knew him and enjoyed seeing him.
“Pork Chop brought a special joy to Carnival. People looked forward to his presence because of the laughter and vibrant energy he shared. His love for our culture was evident, and he holds a special place in the hearts of many,” Lewis stated.
MP Lewis reflected on the lasting impression Pork Chop leaves behind, describing him as one of Sint Maarten’s great cultural icons.

MP Lewis expressed his wish that Pork Chop’s loved ones find comfort in the outpouring of affection and in knowing how much he meant to the community.
“To his family and friends, may you find strength in one another and comfort in the love surrounding you. Thank you for sharing him with Sint Maarten. We mourn with you and will remember him with warmth and gratitude.” MP Lewis stated.
