UPDATE: FOUR MINORS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH FESTIVAL VILLAGE BREAK-INS

SINT MAARTEN (KPSM) — The Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM) is providing a further update regarding the investigation into the break-ins at several booths in the Festival Village on the Suoaliga Road during the early morning hours of Sunday, September 13, 2026.

KPSM can now confirm that on Monday afternoon, September 14, 2026, the parent of the fourth suspect also brought her son to the police station. The minor was subsequently arrested and is currently being held pending further investigation.

With the arrest of the fourth suspect, four minors have now been arrested in connection with the Festival Village break-ins.

KPSM would like again to commend the parents who came forward and brought their children to the police station. Their cooperation has assisted the police in advancing the investigation.

The investigation remains ongoing. Detectives and the Forensic Department continue to gather evidence and establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

As all four suspects are minors, KPSM will not disclose any information that could lead to their identification.
