Traffic control on Saba
On Tuesday, the 29th of September, between 15:00 and 16:15, police conducted a planned traffic control on Samuel A. Charles Street, near the police station in The Bottom on Saba.
During the control, a total of eighteen (18) vehicles were checked. Three (3) fines were issued for failure to wear the mandatory seatbelt.
A police report was filed for each violation.
Traffic control on St. Eustatius
On Tuesday, the 29th of September, at around 14:06, police conducted a traffic control on Father van Tefelenweg.
During the control, a total of twelve (12) vehicles were checked. Five drivers were fined: four (4) for failure to wear the mandatory seatbelt and one (1) for failing to produce a driver’s license upon first request.
A police report was filed for each violation.
