Central Committee meeting of Parliament to deliberate on the composition of the Permanent and Ad Hoc Committees of Parliament, the Committees of the Latin American Parliament (PARLATINO), and the approval of a delegation to attend the ceremonial installation of the President of the Joint Court of Justice

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The House of Parliament will sit in a Central Committee meeting on September 9, 2026.   The Central Committee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at 11.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Hall at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg. 

The agenda points are:

1. Advice regarding the installation and composition of the Permanent and Ad hoc Committees of Parliament
2. Advice regarding the installation and composition of the Parlatino Committees
3. Approval of composition delegation and provision for the President of Parliament to attend the ceremonial installation of the President of the Joint Court of Justice in Curaçao on October 16, 2026 (IS/1354/2025-2026 dated August 18, 2026)

Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations. All persons visiting the House of Parliament must adhere to the house rules.

The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.
