Royal Anguilla Police Force Investigating Suspected Homicide and Arson

The Valley, Anguilla – The Royal Anguilla Police Force is investigating a suspected homicide and arson that occurred in the Bad Cox area on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, sometime after 6:00 a.m.

Police responded to reports of a vehicle on fire and, upon arrival, discovered the body of a male in a nearby yard.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the deceased was involved in a violent incident involving his motor vehicle prior to his death. The scene was secured and processed by forensic personnel, and the body was subsequently transported to a funeral home pending a post-mortem examination.

A male suspect has since been arrested and remains in police custody, assisting with the ongoing investigation.
