KPSM Investigating Multiple Hotel Room Break-Ins in Little Bay Area

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — The Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM) is currently investigating a series of break-ins that took place at a hotel in the Little Bay area on Sunday evening, November 30th, 2025.

Just after 7:00 PM, patrol officers were dispatched to the location following a report from hotel security. Upon arrival, officers were informed that a large group of young males had forcibly entered at least seven hotel rooms and stolen several electronic items and other valuables.

KPSM officers, assisted by hotel security, conducted an extensive search of the hotel grounds that continued late into the evening in an effort to locate the suspects.

As part of the ongoing investigation, on December 1st, 2025, a parent brought a minor to the Philipsburg Police Station who may have been involved in the incident. Officers are currently investigating and in contacting parents of minors who may be involved in this incident  and to gather more information about what transpired on the property.

KPSM strongly urges parents and guardians to speak to their minor children about the consequences of such acts and to remain aware of their movements and activities.
