The three Presidents of Sint Maarten, Curacao and Aruba Parliament convened for a Tripartite Presidents’ meeting

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — On Monday, June 30, 2025, the Presidents of the Parliaments of Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten convened for a Tripartite Presidents’ Meeting.

This meeting, initiated by the President of the Parliament of Sint Maarten, the Hon. Mrs. Sarah A. Wescot-Williams, provided a platform for high-level discussions among Hon. Mr. Alfred Marlon Sneek, President of the Parliament of Aruba, and Hon. Mr. Fergino Brownbill, President of the Parliament of Curaçao.

During the meeting, the Presidents discussed the continuation of the Tripartite and IPKO Consultations, as well as the draft Dispute Regulation. They explored ways to intensify regional cooperation at the parliamentary level, as well as enhance collaboration within parliamentary committees across the three Parliaments.

The meeting was followed by a lunch hosted by President Mrs. Wescot-Williams.
