Simpson Bay, Sint Maarten – Ms. Mahaya Flanders, a Guest Service Agent (GSA) from Juliana Airport Handlers (JAH) in Sint Maarten, has proudly received Spirit Airlines’ “Guest Service Agent of the Year” award for 2024. Ms. Flanders, a valued JAH employee since 2016, captured this prestigious award on June 26, 2025, at Spirit’s headquarters in Fort Lauderdale. She was recognized for her outstanding commitment to excellent customer service and operational performance.
This is a first for the Sint Maarten station. Therefore, JAH management wants to emphasize that Ms. Flanders has consistently demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a deep dedication to ensuring all Spirit customers receive a great travel experience. Known for her warm demeanor, exceptional communication skills, and always going the extra mile, Ms. Flanders has earned the admiration of her peers and management.
Ms. Flanders’ recognition as GSA of the Year 2024 reflects her dedication and shines a light on the high service standards Juliana Airport Handlers uphold. Juliana Airport Handlers has been a handling company at Princess Juliana International Airport since July 2006.
