PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — The St. Maarten National Heritage Foundation & Museum (SMNHFM) would like to express gratitude to N.V. GEBE for receipt of a generous donation to be used towards the purchase of a new multi-functional printer.

This printer will allow SMNHFM to continue to carry out its objective of promoting and protecting the island’s culture and heritage through various means, such as reprinting pamphlets, publications, books and flyers. Board members were excited to learn that the St. Maarten Museum was chosen as N.V. GEBE’s first recipient for a donation for the 2021 year, as this displays the company’s commitment to local NGOs and their value of preserving local culture.

In an invited statement NV GEBE stated they believe that it is important to help in the success of the local museum that is working diligently to preserve our local heritage.

The board would like to say thanks to board member Ketty Leblanc who spearheaded this collaborative effort, along with Interim Manager Dr. Sharine Daniel, Corporate Communication /PR Ms. Paula Gordon and Executive Secretary Cheryl Arnell for their willing and energetic response to meet the museum’s need.
