CAY BAY, Sint Maarten — An illegal brothel was intercepted in Cay Bay today, November 27th, 2018. Nine illegal female prostitutes from South America were discovered.
Various investigative authorities namely the Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM) Human Trafficking and Human Smuggling Unit, the Alfateam and the Enforcement and Fraud Departments joined forces in this operation which saw the arrest of one suspect.
Vandaag in Cay Bay is een illegaal bordeel opgerold in een grote politieactie, waarbij samengewerkt werd tussen verschillende opsporingsinstanties, te weten de KPSM Unit Mensnenhandel en Mensensmokkel, het Alfa Team en de Afdelingen Handhaving en Fraude.
Er zijn 9 illegale prostituees afgevoerd, die allen afkomstig zijn uit Zuid-Amerika. En er is 1 verdachte aangehouden, te weten de bordeelhouder.
