PRESSING FOR PROGRESS AS WE CELEBRATE WOMEN TODAY

BELAIR — In commemorating International Women’s Day under the theme: #Press for Progress, Jasmine Payne, the developer of ServiceBranding, and an Integrated Marketing Communications Consultant from Barbados, is paying it forward to a young female entrepreneur between 25 and 35. Payne, who is the developer of ServiceBranding, and an Integrated Marketing Communications Consultant, will be one of the exceptional speakers/trainers that will grace the stage for Victorious Living’s first annual Leadership Summit slated for May 3rd to 5th, 2018.

Jasmine Payne’s ServiceBrand consultancy will give one full sponsorship of a young female entrepreneur age 25-35 to attend the LeaderCast event May 3-5th (US $300 value) which includes her session Benefits of Syncing Personal and Corporate Brands – Not Magic but a practical approach to “Marriage.” The winner will be able to invite a friend (a young person her age and either an entrepreneur or aspiring entrepreneur) to attend Jasmine Payne’s seminar on Saturday May 5th (US $100.00 value).To be eligible to win, the applicant should submit a short essay- minimum 350 to maximum 400 words to Victorious Living Foundation’s email address:leadercastvlfsxm@gmail.com.

The title of the essay is: “Invest in me because…; My Value Proposition is…”

Accompanying the essay should be: 1) her photo, 2) verifiable information on age, 3) her address

4) the type of business, 5) contact information. Entries must be received by midnight on the closing date, March 29th.  The essays will be judged by a panel including: Dr. Erna Mae Francis- Cotton; Mr. Rolando Tobias, Ms. Shelly Alphonso and Seminar Presenter, Ms. Jasmine Payne. ESSAYS LONGER THAN 400 WORDS WILL NOT BE JUDGED. Results on the winner and friend will be announced to the public by April 20th.

What’s the significance of launching this contest on International Women’s Day? Payne stated: “My development and memories are built by the seeds others have sown by giving me opportunities.  It is important to honour that investment by doing the same for others. I am concerned about the growth of both men and women but I see International Women’s Day as an opportunity to honour women. Investing in young women is necessary to ensure that they grow and develop with opportunities equal to those of young men. It is my responsibility to encourage and give back. I am happy to be able to support Victorious Living’s work in this way.”
