Great Bay, St. Maarten – On March 10, 2018, the St. Maarten Academy P.S.V.E. will be holding its first talent showcase. The showcase was an initiative started by the School Coach, Mrs. Beverly Benn in an effort to enhance collegiality while raising funds for the school.
The show is guaranteed to be an engaging experience as participants will be sharing their talents in song, dance, drama, spoken word, poetry and lots more. The night promises to be filled with excitement, intrigue and performances that will be comical as well as empowering.
Through this experience, we teach our students how to use their skills to make a contribution to the society and in this case their school. The proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards enhancing our school environment making it more conducive for learning.
Though it is not the first time that the St. Maarten Academy P.S.V.E. has been on the stage, the teachers saw the necessity to lead by example especially after going through and dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. We are asking everyone to come out and support St. Maarten Academy P.S.V.E
The show will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Philipsburg Cultural Center from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 pm. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children up to age 10.
