25-year-old on bail for causing death by dangerous driving

ANGUILLA – The Royal Anguilla Police on Sunday, February 5, arrested 25-year-old Lashawn Davis of Island Harbour, and later charged him with causing death by dangerous driving.

Davis, who was taken before the Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, February 7, was granted bail in the sum of EC $80,000 with one surety.

Conditions of bail are that the alleged offender surrenders all travel documents forthwith and not leave Anguilla by any means without the court’s permission, report to The Valley Police Station every Monday and Friday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm, and to be of good behavior.

He is due back in court on Monday, April 24, to answer to the charge.
