Condolences from Saba


THE BOTTOM, SABA – Commissioner Rolando Wilson on Monday, October 3, said that he was very saddened to have learned of the sudden passing of the late Samuel Allen Jr. in the Dominican Republic after suffering a major heart trauma.

“The voice of Mr. Allen Jr. will be missed from the airwaves bringing accurate news and information reports to the people of the entire Windward Islands. We all mourn his loss at such a tender age. Mr. Allen Jr. was well-known to all of us here in the Eastern Caribbean on radio.

On behalf of myself, my family, the Windward Islands People’s Movement and the people of Saba, I hereby express my deepest condolences to his wife and his relatives, his many colleagues and friends of the media, the management and staff of the Voice of St. Maarten and the entire population of St. Maarten. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” stated Commissioner Wilson.
