ANGUILLA – The Royal Anguilla Police would like to confirm that the victim in Friday night’s, August 5, shooting incident in The Valley in The Ruthwill’s parking lot was 23-year-old Ansel Carty of West End.
The victim, who at the time was in the parking lot, was attacked by unknown assailant(s). As a result of two gunshot wounds to the upper body, the victim succumbed to the injuries.
There are two persons in police custody at the moment assisting with the investigation.
Police continue to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the shooting incident or may have any information regarding the murder of Carty of West End to call The Valley Police Station and ask for the Major Crimes Unit or speak to an officer of their choice.
