ANGUILLA — Two firearms have been recovered in two separate incidents on Sunday 19th December 2021, in the Back Street South Hill area. In one of the incidents a .380 mm handgun was recovered, and the other, a Glock 40mm handgun with eighteen (18) rounds of ammunition.
At present, there is a 22yr Old Male from George Hill and a 20 yr old male from The Valley in custody assisting the officers with their investigation. Both incidents were intercepted by off-duty Police Officers attached to the Crime Group of the RAPF.
Charges relating to those recovered firearms are expected to be laid before the magistrate court very soon.
