Minister’s surprise presentation to First Lady of Radio

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Traffic & Telecommunication (TEATT) the Honourable Stuart Johnson surprised “The First Lady of Radio” on St. Maarten Grace “Lady Grace” Blijden for her many years of exceptional service as a Radio Personality on PJD2 Radio Station in St. Maarten.

Grace completely moved by the gesture from Minister Johnson, thanked him for what she considered to be the “most touching presentation.” The Minister read the plaque to Grace which said “With Deepest Appreciation to Grace “Lady Grace” Blijden, The First Lady of Radio.

Thank you for your tireless efforts in building our Radio Communications. Your cheerful voice and personality, professionalism, and your dedication to providing true and accurate information to your listeners over the years are unmatched. You have made “Morning Time with Lady Grace” a show for the ages.

This plaque is presented to you on this day December 21st, in recognition of your hard work as a pioneer in the Radio industry by the Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Traffic & Telecommunication (TEATT), The Honourable Stuart Johnson.
