Police asks assistance
PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — On Sunday June 7th 2015, between 9 and 10 p.m. a 49-year old man from Saint Martin was assaulted by an unknown man. This happened in the vicinity of the Diamond Casino close to the ATM.
A little earlier that evening the Saint Martin inhabitant had a heated argument with a woman. The argument was about money. When the victim went to the ATM he was attacked by this unknown male. The victim sustained injuries to his head and face.
The police are investigating this case, but would really appreciate if any witnesses who saw or heard anything that could be related to this case, to come forward and let our detective department know what they witnessed.
