PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten – One pedestrian is reported to be dead after being struck by a hit and run driver on the airport road Thursday morning. Reports state that the pedestrian, a Caucasian male jogger, was struck by an unknown vehicle in-front of Thrifty car rental on the Airport Road. The driver of the vehicle kept on driving. The fatal incident is now being investigated by the St. Maarten Police Department.
